SHOWROOM TAREET 2024

THE GENESIS OF AN ECLECTIC WARDROBE

“Tareet first exhibition to present several silhouettes and an official shoes and jersey powered by the renown Japanese sports brand Asics. The brand has also given a second life to some archive CP Company garments. An overview of Tareet’s leather and heritage weaving work since then”

Tareet is a brand that embraces the cultural heritage of Afro-European clothing, drawing inspiration from the codes and aesthetics of the family's upbringing. By melding the archetypes specific to both cultures, Tareet creates a unique fusion. The creative process involves conceptualizing silhouettes, utilizing 3D mockups, and employing molding techniques to craft a distinctive wardrobe. The designer also incorporates Arabic script transcriptions into the designs, adding another layer of cultural significance.

The upcoming exhibition, was be taking place at Lucid Interval, 94 Rue Quincampoix, 75003 Paris on February 29 and March 1 .

Tareet  proudly presents "LABEL LIGGEY YAT" powered by Asics, the renowned sportswear brand to infuse his DNA into sneakers and garments. With Marseille as his backdrop, the rework enhances Asics' presence in the South of France. Through this powering, Tareet reimagines Japanese football jerseys and footwear, blending streetwear with his dystopian and ancestral universe, often taking the form of the iconic "babouche".

The collection features innovative cuts such as twisted shorts and caps, alongside reworked garments from CP Company, a brand deeply ingrained in the designer's upbringing. With leftover skins transformed into jackets, pants, bombers, and caps, showcasing raw craftsmanship and intricate detailing reminiscent of the Djellaba aesthetic.
